Thelonious Studios upgrades location and relaunches Website!!

So we've switched out location, and we must admit; it's a huge upgrade. With a bigger dedicated space (40 sq. metres), more natural light, and an all round more professional look, Thelonious Studios is now even more certain in saying that we are probably the most affordable photography studio in all of Cape Town. To celebrate this momentous humble evolutionary occurrence, Thelonious Studios will be giving away two different prizes - i) 2 full days studio rental to the value of R1900, and ii) a full day's shoot with one of our photographers either on location or in studio, to the value of more than R2000. Read below to find out more about how you can win. And if you're reading this, you're able to see that we've spiced things up and redesigned our website too. Gone are the days of a percentage bar loading, the lack of access from a mobile device, the limitations in posting regular content. We've switched it up not only for our sake, but also (cheesy line coming up...) for all you out there not only looking for an affordable studio but also a dynamic website that is able to offer regular worthwhile content while still being easy to navigate and easy on the senses... What you think? The Changes. While you're eyeing out our new aesthetics, eye out our new added "News & Features" section. Here we'll be posting various content from local to international, novice to professional, bygone to bygone. All with a ever strong photographic presence of course, because, well; it kind of make makes sense, doesn't it? We'll be featuring various photographers, checking out some style, travel, beauty, fashion, as well as showcasing works of our clientele and our own portfolio. And did we mention that our rates are still elegantly dirt cheap? Yeah they are. Starting from R200 an hour, R650 per half day, and R950 per full day, our rental rates include the usage of all our lighting equipment, various backdrops (white, grey, and a Chromakey Green screen), as well as the kitchenette, couches, plethora of pillows, and ever so soft throws and other various random props. This entails 20% discount on all rentals as well as a free hour with every two hours booked.
